Learn some new techniques while knitting this gorgeous shawl with a small group. You will have loads of support and a experienced teacher in Diane Richer to answer all your questions.

You will learn techniques for increasing, drop stitch, two-colour brioche knitting and a knit-on edge.

A reversible shawl with just the right amount of brioche stitch? Yes, please! This shawl is a great chance to combine a few colours - I like using a variegated or speckled yarn along with complimentary solid colours.

This design uses a combination of breezy garter stitch, a playful drop stitch and a meditative brioche stitch. Some experience with brioche knitting is suggested, but not necessary. The spiky border is fun to knit and easy to memorize. It inspired the name: Dovah, meaning “dragon”.

This shawl is knit from the center of the neck outwards with a fingering weight yarn. The triangle trim is knitted-on, so there is no binding off! This shawl has one size and no visible seams.

Pattern is the Dovah Shawl by Kelly McClure of BohoKnits.

Material list will be emailed to you after you register.

The yarn is fingering weight and we will have a number of yarn choices and colours available at the shop.

This will be a small class of 5 people with everyone sitting separately and well distanced and wearing masks.
