This is a fingering weight yarn dyed in resistance to that guy south of the border trying to change the name of our LAKE! It is Lake Ontario, Now & Forever!!
I'm recommending you check out Toronto knitwear designer Laura Chau. She lives on the shores of Lake Ontario, has some stunning designs, plus she is a fabulous teacher and came to my Knitting Retreat weekends to teach.
Her patterns are also very well written and tech edited, so trustworthy. Plus Laura is a lovely person to reach out to if you have questions. Laura's Ravelry shop of patterns.
NOTE: I’ve ordered more yarn and I’m away for 7 days, so any new orders will be ready to ship by September the 23rd. The shipping is usually less that 4 days to arrive anywhere in Ontario.
Baa'd Girl dyer Lesley Snyder lives in Prince Edward County which is basically an island in Lake Ontario. So it gets a bit personal when someone wants to change our Lake's name who doesn't even live near it!!!
