This is our 9th year of having our fun filled Wool & Wine Knitting Retreat. If you haven't attended before this is the one to come to! Make new friends and knit all weekend along with great food and a relaxing atmosphere.

Our teachers are fun and fabulous with lots of tricks and techniques to share. Plus Christopher & Jamie of Cabin Boy Knits are bringing their yarn and their own special version of entertainment for Saturday night!

You are welcome to come even on your own. I promise you will have friends by the end of an hour spent with our group!

This is one of my favourite weekends, spending time with ladies that love to knit, laugh and eat delicious food.

Thanks Lesley for an amazing weekend.  My first time and it was great fun.  Teachers, venue and food were awesome. (Wool & Wine Knit Retreat)

Thank you so much for a great weekend. I learned so much from the workshops and the women gathered. What a lovely space with comfortable beds and delicious food. I deeply appreciate your long-term planning to create such an amazing adventure in learning and community. (Wool & Wine Knit Retreat)

Abigail Johnson

Many thanks for a fabulous retreat.  I took all three classes with Patty.  My knitting life is changed forever.  She emphasized learning to read your knitting and went on to "make" us do it.  Just what I needed. (Wool & Wine Knit Retreat)

Our Favourite Shop Patterns

Over Easy Sweater by Espace Tricot

We knit this pattern with a couple of tweaks. We used 10 mm needles with Stone Wash XL yarn and worked with only 2" of positive ease over our chest measurement.

Rideau Cowl by Fiona Ellis

This infinity/cowl was a fun and simple garter stitch knit with River Wash by Scheepjes. It is actually a cotton & acrylic blend that feels like wool!
