Silk & Wool Felted Scarf Workshop

Lesley Snyder, owner of Rosehaven Yarn Shop, will be teaching a you the basics of nuno felting your own shawl in a one day course. Lesley is a fibre artist that was a member of the Arts On Main Gallery art co-op for a number of years and has sold her shawls in the gallery and in her own shop. 

Lesley believes in exploring colour and texture when it comes to nuno felting so you will be learning as much as can be squeezed into your workshop.

Different techniques will be discussed and demonstrated so that you can find the one that works best for you. You will be encouraged to ask questions and Lesley is happy to show the more experienced felter more involved ways of creating texture during this class. That's the joy of small class we will have time to experiment if you want to.

Materials are included in the cost of the class.

Bring a medium size mixing bowl to hold the soapy water and 2 large old towels that you aren't worried about getting any dye on that might come out of the wool.

There will be an hour lunch break when you can visit a local cafe or bring a lunch if you prefer.

It is a small class of only 4 spots and they fill up fast so don't miss out!

Cancellations will be refunded if notified a 30 days in advance of workshop date.  Less than 30 days before the workshop no refunds will be given.
