Step into the colourful world of wet felting with fibre artist and Rosehaven Yarn Shop owner Lesley Snyder in this inspiring afternoon workshop where you’ll create your own one-of-a-kind wool and silk fibre art pillow cover.
This is more than just a craft class — it’s a chance to play with rich textures, vibrant colour, and luxurious fibres while learning the magical art of transforming soft wool into beautiful fabric.
Lesley’s teaching style encourages creativity and exploration, so you’ll discover a variety of wet felting techniques throughout the workshop. Whether you are completely new to felting or already have some experience, you’ll be guided at your own pace with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, experiment, and try more advanced texture techniques if you wish.
Because this is an intimate class with only 6 participants, there is lots of personal instruction and time to explore your ideas in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
All supplies are included, including premium wool and silk fibres, an 18” pillow insert, and a linen/cotton slipcover to complete your finished artwork. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get a little delightfully messy!
Lesley has been felting for over a decade and her award-winning fibre art has been featured in galleries and art shows throughout the region. She loves sharing the joy, creativity, and endless possibilities of working with wool.
